The newly awarded picks that qualify are not yet set for 2025, but the 49ers do have one carrying over from 2024 that is already set. A maximum of 32 regular compensatory picks are awarded. These picks can be traded.

Tight end Jake Ferguson had a down year and running back Rico Dowdle has yet to prove he can carry the load for an entire season, despite finishing the year with 1,000 yards on the ground, so the Cowboys can bolster their skill positions in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Unfortunately for the Dallas Cowboys, they are preparing for the 2025 NFL Draft instead of playing in the 2025 playoffs. With plenty in limbo with the Cowboys coaching staff, the job of the Cowboys scouting department does not stop.
