Houston Astros third baseman Isaac Paredes will join the 2025 American League All-Star team . This marks the second consecutive year the 26-year-old has been named to the All-Star team, following his selection last year while with the Tampa Bay Rays.

He replaces José Ramírez of the Cleveland Guardians on the AL roster.  In his first season with the Astros, Paredes leads all AL third basemen in home runs (19) and RBIs (49) and is tied for first in OPS (.

The Houston Astros had several players named to the MLB All-Star Game this year, including RHP Hunter Brown and SS Jeremy Peña who are making their All-Star debut, while LHP Josh Hader will return for the sixth time.
