On Thursday, CHSN announced the DTC service will launch Friday, offering Blackhawks, Bulls and White Sox games and other programming via its iOS and Android apps and any web browser.

CHSN initially was cautious about releasing its DTC service out of respect for its distributors. But with a dozen on board and Comcast still holding out, the network chose not to delay.
