The manufacturer of numerous frozen waffle brands has issued a voluntary recall over potential listeria contamination.

The company says consumers should either throw the waffles away or return them for a refund.

The nationwide recall includes more than 500 types of frozen waffles sold at Target, Walmart and other grocery chains.
