Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s highly anticipated new theme park, opened today on May 22. The official media event took place last night, May 21st, but today marked the first day the park is officially open to the public.

Epic Universe is divided into five themed lands, anchored by its central hub - Celestial Park - which is being touted as putting the park back in theme park with its lush greenery and multiple water fountains. It features numerous restaurants and the early crowd favorite attraction in Stardust Racers, a dual-launch rollercoaster.

Universal Epic Universe is a theme park lovers’ theme park. The new addition to Universal Orlando Resort takes immersive theming to new levels in five fully fleshed worlds connected by ornate portals throughout the park.
