The manufacturer of numerous frozen waffle brands has issued a voluntary recall over potential listeria contamination.

The company says consumers should either throw the waffles away or return them for a refund.

The recalled waffles are sold under a variety of names at leading retailers, including Walmart, Target and Kroger.
