COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football is giving coach Ryan Day a contract extension, pending an approval by the university’s board of trustees. The new deal adds three years to his current agreement, extending him through the 2031 season.

Ryan Day’s contract extension at Ohio State would make him the second-highest-paid football coach in the country behind Georgia’s Kirby Smart.
