FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. ( KNWA /KFTA) — More than 500 varieties of frozen waffles sold across the United States and Canada are being recalled due to possible listeria contamination, the FDA announced on Friday.

The manufacturer of numerous frozen waffle brands has issued a voluntary recall over potential listeria contamination. Treehouse Foods, which makes waffles and other foods for Target and other national retailers, discovered the issue through routine testing at their manufacturing facility, according to a news release.
