To launch an elevated PowerShell prompt, click on the 'Windows PowerShell (Admin)' option. Windows 10 will now display a UAC prompt asking if you want to give the program elevated permissions.

Windows PowerShell is a newer program that's similar to Command Prompt. And in some versions of Windows 10, it replaces Command Prompt in the menus you'd usually use to open it.

To open Windows Terminal in Windows 11, click the Start button and select All Apps. Scroll down the Start menu and select the shortcut for Windows Terminal.
