Ikea has launched a pop-up shop on London’s Oxford Street dedicated to its blue carrier bag, as it hopes to attract shoppers ahead of the delayed opening of its new city centre store.

Ikea is set to celebrate its iconic blue carrier bags in a new London pop up. A pop-up experience dedicated to Ikea’s classic cobalt shopping bag, the Frakta, is coming to London’s Oxford Street.

Ikea says the opening is delayed due to leaks in the Grade II listed building Ikea has pushed back the opening of its new central London store in order to fix leaks in the building's basement.
