According to reports Legoland Florida plans to lay off 234 of its workers, primarily performers. Reports state the move is to make Legoland more competitive in central Florida's theme park market.

The staff reduction at the Carlsbad park comes as Legoland looks to restructure how it produces and staffs shows throughout the year.
