Less than a year after signing Jonah Jackson to a $51 million contract, the Los Angeles Rams are moving on from the veteran lineman. News broke on Tuesday that the team is trading Jackson to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2025 draft.

The Chicago Bears agreed to trade for Los Angeles Rams guard Jonah Jackson. Sources told ESPN, the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Sun-Times about the deal Tuesday. The Bears will send the Rams a sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft in exchange for the veteran offensive lineman.

The Rams allowed Jackson to seek a trade after losing his job. He'll reunite with Bears coach Ben Johnson, who coached him in Detroit.
