Former This Morning host Phillip Schofield has suggested his stint on Channel 5's desert island survival show Cast Away will be his last TV appearance.

The first trailer of Channel 5’s Cast Away starring Phillip Schofield have been released by the broadcaster. The former This Morning presenter is set to make his return to television for the first time in 16 months next week after exiting ITV over his widely reported affair scandal.

Just over 15 months ago, former television presenter Phillip Schofield told the BBC that his career was finished. He had just left ITV, after admitting to an affair with a younger employee at the company, about which he had lied. Many had expected Schofield to quit television for good and he subsequently disappeared from the spotlight.
