( MENAFN - KNN India) New Delhi, Oct 19 (KNN) The Reserve bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das has indicated that an immediate reduction in interest rates is unlikely, citing expectations of rising headline inflation in October before any potential moderation.

During the October monetary policy announcement, RBI had maintained the status quo on rate and changed stance to 'Neutral' from 'Withdrawal of Accommodation.'
