The New York Mets' $765 million superstar offered a candid response to missing a fifth-consecutive All-Star game.

Outfielder Juan Soto, a four-time All-Star with the Washington Nationals, San Diego Padres, and New York Yankees, failed to make the initial All-Star roster as a reserve in the first year of his 15-year, $765 million contract.

Soto went hitless Sunday and was in the on-deck circle when Francisco Lindor struck out against Devin Williams to end the game. Soto acknowledged it was a goal of his to continue his streak of playing in the Midsummer Classic.
