Sonic Temple, happening in Columbus in May 2025, has announced more of the lineup of the four-day heavy music's festival that includes Alice Cooper, Alice In Chains, Trivium and Chevelle.

Sonic Temple producer Danny Wimmer has been after Metallica to play at the music fest for years. They'll finally take the stage May 9 and May 11.

Metallica are currently in Central America and will play four shows in Mexico City from tomorrow (September 20) until September 29. Frontman James Hetfield recently acted in western thriller film The Thicket alongside Game Of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, but revealed in an interview that he doesn’t really like acting that much.
