No tsunami threat, no major damages or injuries resulted from a preliminary magnitude 5.9 earthquake that jolted Guam at 11:34 p.m. Wednesday.

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded an earthquake on Guam with a preliminary magnitude of 5.0 at 12:57 p.m. Tuesday, but didn't raise any tsunami threat. There were no injuries and damages reported.
