The Met Office has provided the following weather forecast for East Lancashire from Friday, January 31, to Sunday, February 2.

Although it usually happens once or twice a year, this will be a very big snow for the tops of the volcanoes in Hawaii. One to two feet of snow will be possible.

A well advertised winter storm will bring heavy snow for some this morning, with clearing skies during the afternoon and evening hours.
