Police say a brown bear attacked a woman as she hiked a popular trail in Alaska's largest city, Anchorage. Police say the woman called 911 at about 3 p.m.

A spokesman for the Anchorage Police Department, which was leading rescue operations, described the victim’s injuries as not life-threatening.
