AI startup Anthropic is near a deal to raise an additional $2 billion at a price that values the company at $60 billion, sources said, months after its $4 billion funding from Amazon .

Anthropic's new fundraise will make CEO Dario Amodei, president Daniela Amodei and their five cofounders all billionaires. Forbes estimates each to hold 2% equity stakes.

The funding round is being led by the venture firm Lightspeed Venture Partners, people familiar with the matter said. The $60 billion valuation includes the money Anthropic plans
