The game is back on the Google Play Store, but another court decision is rolling back some of the developer-friendly changes on iOS.

A US appeals court has ruled that Apple can collect commissions on external payment links, overturning a previous ban. However, the court warned that fees must be "reasonable," sending the case back to determine a fair rate.

"We will return Fortnite to the US iOS App Store next week," Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said on X on May 1st, just as Apple was handed a humiliating court defeat in a case Epic started years ago. It wasn't the victory Sweeney had hoped for, though.
