The Cat in the Hat is returning for more chaos in Warner Bros. Pictures Animation’s first animated adaptation of the beloved Dr. Seuss book, starring Bill Hader and Quinta Brunson.

Bathed in the sort of color and imaginative vision you’d expect from a Seussian masterpiece, The Cat in the Hat 2026 looks absolutely pure of heart. That’s something that was definitely missing from the 2003 live-action adventure, and even if it led to some of my favorite moments, it wasn’t The Cat I grew up with.
