The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a warning to shoppers not to consume the eggs from six different brands due to the possible contamination with salmonella

Eggs are being recalled in some provinces, after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) put out a notice saying some brands might be contaminated with salmonella. The recall from the agency includes cartons from various companies sold in Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia and possibly other parts of Canada.

The eggs subject to recall were produced at a Burnbrae Farms site in Manitoba. Burnbrae Farms and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) are recalling eggs carrying multiple labels over possible Salmonella contamination.

Six different brands of eggs have been recalled in Canada due to the possibility of salmonella contamination. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recalled Golden Valley, Compliments, Foremost, IGA, No Name, and Western Family eggs on Saturday (January 18). The recall applies to different packages and sizes of eggs.
