The music publishing company for renowned Detroit rapper Eminem is suing Meta, alleging the social media giant made its songs available to users without permission.

The lawsuit accuses the social media giant of profiting from Eminem's music without obtaining the proper license.

Eminem is suing Meta, parent company of Instagram, for unauthorized use of his songs. The damages could total more than $1 million.
