Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that he hoped the new U.S. president would herald better ties as Ankara has been disappointed by both Republicans and Democrats in the past, broadcaster Haberturk and others reported on Thursday.

For the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has not mentioned the issue of Kashmir in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly. This comes at a time when Turkey is making a bid to be a part of the BRICS grouping.
