As the Trump administration moves forward with its immigration agenda, immigration advocates across the country are mobilizing to protest.

Draped in Mexican and Salvadoran and flags, roughly 1,000 demonstrators gathered near City Hall shortly before noon, blocking traffic at Spring and Temple streets

A large group of people protesting President Donald Trump’s illegal immigration policies blocked traffic on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday. The protesters gathered Sunday morning on Olvera Street for what the Los Angeles Police Department called a non-permitted demonstration.

Anti-ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) demonstrators have caused “major gridlock” as they protest Donald Trump’s deportations.

Since his inauguration on Jan. 20, Trump has followed through on his campaign promise to dramatically boost deportation of illegal immigrants, with ICE carrying out raids in major cities including Los Angeles and San Diego.
