Captain Ben Stokes opts to skip next year's Indian Premier League, but former England bowler James Anderson and Jofra Archer register for the upcoming auction.

Ben Stokes' name was missing from the long list of 1,574 players who have registered for the player's auction.

While Stokes, the IPL’s most valuable player in 2017, sits out, it has been reported former England team-mate James Anderson, who has not played a T20 since August 2014, has thrown his hat into the ring.

The list also features an unusual entrant, Italy’s Thomas Draca, who played in the Global T20 Canada and was recently picked by MI Emirates for the ILT20
