The Rams have signed wide receiver Davante Adams and re-signed quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in recent days, which might have some wondering if they've set themselves up for some awkwardness in the locker room.

Garoppolo mentioned the team's "core players" as big reasons for his return, as well as general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay. Garoppolo didn't specify which players he meant, but he said that they were welcoming, hardworking and meshed well with the veteran quarterback in his first season with the Rams.

Jimmy Garoppolo and Davante Adams were teammates with the Las Vegas Raiders. Their time together ended in catastrophe, as Garoppolo was released before the 2024 season and Adams was traded away midway through that season.

Now neither player is on the Raiders but they are reuniting on the Los Angeles Rams. Adams signed a big contract with the team this offseason and Garoppolo re-signed after spending the 2024 season as Matthew Stafford 's backup.
