Former Texas linebacker Jordan Hicks is retiring from the NFL after a strong 10-year career. Despite dealing with several injuries throughout his college career, Hicks appeared in 45 games for the Longhorns in his five seasons and earned 2nd team All-America honors in 2014.

Browns starting linebacker Jordan Hicks is retiring after 10 seasons in the NFL, he announced on Instagram on Friday morning.

Hicks played 45 games over five season and earned Second Team All-American status during his college career with the Texas Longhorns. Hicks was a 247Sports five-star recruit and the No. 5 overall prospect in the 2010 out of West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West High.
