Derik Queen has plenty to remember about his first Summer League game. There was the good, such as a double-double in his first outing in a New Orleans Pelicans uniform. And there was his nifty behind-the-back assist to Hunter Dickinson.

Aside from the errors, Fears and Queen did show flashes of the type of skillsets that made them hot commodities for the Pelicans on draft night.

The New Orleans Pelicans signed Forward Herb Jones to a three-year $68 million contract extension this evening. He has five years and $97 million left on his Pelicans deal with a player option for the 2029-30 season.
