Thailand’s new Cabinet members have taken their oaths of office, including the suspended prime minister who is under an ethics investigation

BANGKOK: Thailand's suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra was sworn in as a cabinet minister Thursday (July 3), a manoeuvre allowing her to attend ministerial meetings while awaiting the results of a court review of her alleged misconduct.

Paetongtarn Shinawatra is accused of ethical lapses in a conversation with the Cambodian leader Hun Sen and has faced calls to resign.
