He was limited Thursday and Friday. Ward has knee and hamstring soreness that kept him out of Thursday’s practice. He was back in limited fashion Friday.

The 49ers ruled out George Kittle for Sunday’s game at the Rams and elevated tight end Brayden Willis and defensive end Sam Okuayinonu from the practice squad.
