PHILADELPHIA -- Cody Glass scored in his New Jersey Devils debut, a 3-1 win against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Sunday. Glass was acquired in a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, two days after New Jersey placed top center Jack Hughes on long-term injured reserve following shoulder surgery.

Though Sunday’s game between the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers took place in the City of Brotherly Love, many visiting fans made the 90-120 minute drive up the Jersey Turnpike in hopes of making their presence known.

After the vibes around the New Jersey Devils were at an all-time low following a disappointing trade deadline and a lifeless loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Friday, the Devils went into Philadelphia and took home a big 3-1 win over the Flyers on Sunday afternoon.
