Princess Kate was met with heckles from inmates at a women's prison in Cheshire during a visit on Tuesday.

The Princess of Wales has visited a women's prison in Cheshire where she talked to inmates in a mother-and-baby unit. On a visit to HMP Styal, in Wilmslow, Catherine was shown a project designed to forge strong and healthy relationships between mothers and babies "even in the most challenging of environments".

This was revealed by her mum Princess Kate, 43, when she was chatting to members of the public in Northern Ireland. In a conversation about children, Kate referred to her daughter as Lottie - a sweet nickname often used by people with the name Charlotte.

Princess Kate had the perfect response to Lily-Rose's adorable question, as she told the little girl, "Yes I am! I wanted to come and say hello to you and see your village, and what's going on here, and see this amazing factory," via the Daily Mail.
