Pet food brand Blue Ridge Beef announced on Jan. 31 that it’s recalling 5,700 pounds of bagged pet food because of salmonella contamination that can make the product dangerous to pets as well as people who come into contact with it.

The FDA is urging pet owners to throw this dog food out or return it to the store as it may contain salmonella, which can harm animals and people.
