The lawyer whose defense team won acquittal for Sean “Diddy” Combs on life-sentence-eligible charges says the music mogul was greeted by a standing ovation from fellow prisoners when he returned to jail after the verdict.

The Diddy trial was the most talked-about legal scandal since O.J. Simpson, but just as much of a spectacle was the circus unfolding beyond the witness stand.
