Jarrett has ended his Falcons tenure with 36.5 sacks, 496 tackles, and two Pro Bowl appearances. From 2017 to 2022, he recorded four or more sacks in each season except for one. Injuries shortened his 2023 campaign and he finished the year with just 1.5 sacks and 23 tackles. However, he bounced back in 2024 with 53 tackles and 12 quarterback hits.

The team agreed to a deal for veteran defensive tackle Grady Jarrett for $43.5 million over three years Monday, a source said, shortly after agreeing to sign defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo. He played 10 seasons for the Falcons, including starting every game last season, and made the Pro Bowl in 2019 and ’20. They released him early Monday.

For Dallas, one area of need is along the defensive line. After retaining Osa Odighizuwa, and with uncertainty surrounding Mazi Smith, there is now a new option on the table.
