The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee was built as a Church in 1892 and served later as the Home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974.

The entire, multi-phase expansion project at Gaylord Opryland is expected to cost more than $220 million and greatly increase the venue's capacity.

The $224 million project at Opryland refreshes current meeting space, recasts an underutilized courtyard with food, beverage and group opportunities and expands the amount of carpeted ballroom and breakout space, all while giving the property a feel of modern Southern elegance.
