AUBURN HILLS, MI – Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald has charged the 16-year-old student who allegedly stabbed another student during a fight at Avondale High School with assault.

AUBURN HILLS, MI – A student was taken into custody after a stabbing during a fight in a bathroom at Avondale High School, the Auburn Hills Police Department announced. Police were called to the high school after two students, a 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy, got into the altercation.

According to the Auburn Hills Deputy Chief, they found out about the incident roughly an hour after it happened because the injured student was picked up by a family member and then taken to a nearby hospital.
