Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald has charged an unnamed 16-year-old suspect in the stabbing of a fellow student at Avondale High School in Auburn Hills on Feb. 4.

AUBURN HILLS, MI – A student was taken into custody after a stabbing during a fight in a bathroom at Avondale High School, the Auburn Hills Police Department announced. Police were called to the high school after two students, a 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy, got into the altercation.

According to the Auburn Hills Deputy Chief, they found out about the incident roughly an hour after it happened because the injured student was picked up by a family member and then taken to a nearby hospital.
