Grant Ellis is ready for a second chance at finding true love. Shortly after he was eliminated from Jenn Tran's season of The Bachelorette in August 2024, ABC announced that Grant, 31, was cast as the lead for season 29 of The Bachelor.

Ellis, a 31-year-old day trader from New Jersey, competed on season 21 of "The Bachelorette" with lead Jenn Tran, who ultimately chose Devin Strader during the final rose ceremony. Now, he's back on another quest for true love, becoming the second Black male lead in the franchise's history.
