Three Virginia corrections officers were injured in a stabbing by MS-13 gangbanger inmates, five of whom were in the U.S. illegally, according to VADOC officials.

MS-13 gang members have been accused and convicted of high-profile killings, kidnappings and drug trafficking in the U.S. In March, a leader of the gang was arrested in Virginia .

A Virginia judge granted the Justice Department's motion to dismiss its suit against accused MS-13 gang member, Henrry Josue Villatoro Santos, who was arrested in late March.
