Police are still searching for the suspected gunman who shot someone in a food court bathroom at the Maine Mall Wednesday.

Public safety officials said one person was taken to Maine Medical Center and underwent surgery but was expected to survive.

Some of the stores inside the Maine Mall have a back entrance, like Build-A-Bear. The employees say that allowed them to escape the dangerous situation a lot sooner.
