After the announcement that a $4 billion aluminum smelting plant was headed to northeast Oklahoma, lawmakers passed a bill that would give millions of dollars in incentives.

Tulsa Ports is prepared for an additional $89 million in improvements if the Emirates Global Aluminum deal moves forward, with funding from a "variety of sources," including the federal government.
