The New York Yankees have reportedly inquired about trading for Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suárez, but the D-Backs remain uncertain about moving him, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

“Guardians are listening on relievers, including stars Cade Smith and Emmanuel Clasé,” New York Post MLB insider Jon Heyman reported on Saturday. “Prices are understandably high. They are seen as not too likely to trade either top pen guy, and with MLB’s easiest closing schedule, they aren’t even a certain seller.”

The issues at third base were glaring in New York's first game after the break. Having to go with a bullpen game wasn't a good sign, either.
