The triumph also marked a personal milestone for Antonio Conte. The 55-year-old not only secured his fifth Serie A title, but became the first manager in history to win the league with three different clubs, following his previous successes with Juventus (2011–2014) and Inter Milan (2020–21).
Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis has always been a strong figure behind the scenes at Napoli. He has worked with many top managers over the years and knows the importance of backing the coach. However, he has also made it clear that he will not keep someone at the club against their will.
Despite winning the 2024-25 Serie A title, Napoli seem set to be in for a lot of changes this summer. Italian manager Antonio Conte is set to leave the Azzurri, per multiple reports, and he's expected to join Juventus where he will make his comeback after coaching the team from 2011 to 2014.
