As Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 readies for the release of Season 2 on 28th January, developer Treyarch has shared initial details of Zombies mode's next map, The Tomb - which plunges players deep beneath the earth, down into ancient catacombs.

Black Ops 6 Zombies fans were recently given an exciting teaser about The Tomb’s Pack-a-Punch camo, and hopefully it’s a sign of what’s to come.

Surprise: a new Black Ops 6 Zombies map is launching in less than two weeks as part of Call of Duty’s season two, Treyarch revealed today.

It's nearly time for players to enter The Tomb to battle more undead on the quest for the fabled Sentinel Artifact.

Black Ops 6 Season 2’s new Zombies map, and a few options immediately come to mind.

Black Ops 6's new Zombies map is called The Tomb, which will launch with the start of Season 2 on January 28. This map's narrative follows the events of the Citadelle des Morts main quest, with the characters headed to an excavation site in search of the Sentinel Artifact. A first look at the map can be seen in the image below.

In terms of gameplay, this new location is said to “provide an experience similar to Liberty Falls,” the bright, small-town map that launched with Black Ops 6 in October. Treyarch said this means “tighter play spaces with a focus on replayability” as players discover the many Easter eggs The Tomb hides.
