The Houston Texans have a knack for making history during the early rounds of the playoffs. Saturday at NRG Stadium was no different against Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Texans’ defense tallied four interceptions (two by cornerback Derek Stingley Jr.) and four sacks while holding the Chargers to 3-of-11 on third-down attempts. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert threw three interceptions in the entire regular season.

But C.J. Stroud saved the team from further calamity after a fumbled shotgun snap, as the second-year quarterback recovered the ball and found wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson on the move for a 34-yard gain.
