DETROIT — Right-hander Hunter Gaddis was placed on the bereavement list Saturday following a death in his family. The Guardians recalled right-hander Nic Enright from Triple-A Columbus. If Enright appears in a game, it will be his big league debut.
Gaddis will remain on the bereavement list for a minimum of three days and a maximum of seven days. Being placed on the list allows teams to replace players who must leave for a few days due to a death or serious illness in their immediate family. In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Nic Enright was recalled from Triple-A Columbus.
