According to the lottery website, nine lucky players matched five out of five numbers correctly in the Wednesday, July 9, drawing to win the game’s second-tier prize of $1 million. One of those tickets also matched the game’s Power Play to double their winning to $2 million.

The Powerball Double Play drawing takes place between 11:30 and 11:40 p.m. The Power Play multiplier does not apply to prizes won in the Double Play drawing.
